Confidence is one of, if not the biggest excuse that I hear when people want to avoid making videos to promote their business. Over the past through years I’ve worked with hundreds of different business owners who have come to me with varying degrees of confidence. A few are super confident and are naturals in front of the camera, some seem confident and then as soon as the camera turns on seem to fall apart in front of the camera, whilst the vast majority try to avoid stepping in front of the camera altogether. They cite fears of hearing their own voice played back, or worry about how they will look when they watch it back.

There are loads of reasons why people struggle with confidence in front of the camera, but we work with different businesses every day to help them get past those fears.

In this video we go through 5 tips that you can take forward into your videos to help you start creating videos regularly and how you can get past that initial fear.

And as a special offer to you, if you’d like to take it a step further, take our 3 part confidence course, here on Video Toolkit. It’s three videos with the coach who helped me gain confidence in front of the camera. Before I met Tom Balmont I couldn’t even talk in front of the camera, and now I make videos EVERY DAY, in fact you’d struggle to shut me up now. It really does work…
