Knowing what the best editing software is mainly about picking the best fit for you. And it really comes down to two questions.

  1. How much are you willing to spend?
  2. Are you willing to get technical? Or do you want it to be easy?

These two questions will help you to make the decision. If you’re willing to spend money, then think about Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro. And then if you’re not that technical think about Filmora or Camtasia.

If you’re not willing to spend money and are looking for a freebie, your options are a bit more limited to iMovie (which is great for free!) or Windows Movie Maker (which isn’t that good, but it’s free)
