Sound. It’s one of the most important aspects of the videos you make. If people can’t hear you then they’ll switch off. And if they struggle to hear you they’ll switch off.
You need to make sure that sound is a top priority if you want viewers to watch the entirety of your videos. The best way to do this is to buy an external microphone and record separately to your camera. That’s exactly what I do in this video. I show you what the sound is like through the microphone in my camera (in a really echoey room) and the lapel mic that I’m wearing. There’s a huge difference.
So if you want to improve the quality of your videos. Invest in a quality microphone.
