Having video on your website seems pretty obvious. After all you want to show visitors what you do, you want them to know what to do when they get to your website, and you want to start building your relationship with them. How better than having a face to face interaction?

If you don’t have video on your website, I honestly think you’re missing a trick. Personally, if I go onto a website and don’t see video to answer a particular question I have, or to explain what’s going on, or if I see reams and reams of text I automatically switch off and go elsewhere. I’m the last person who wants to read an essay. I want my information quickly, and the easiest way of doing that is through video.

Sure, use text to back up video, your website would make absolutely no sense if there was just embedded videos everywhere. Balance what you’re going to do, plan where you’re going to put videos and most importantly work out WHY you’re making each and every video that sits on your site.
