I’ve been making videos for all sorts of businesses for a while now, and I’d like to think I know a bit about targeting, scripting and helping people appear confident in front of the camera.

This week’s video is all about Video Strategy. Something that I don’t talk enough about. (Partly because I have problems saying the word strategy for some reason)

Having an idea of what you want to achieve with video is very important. It’s no use making a video and hoping that your website will suddenly be on the first page of Google and all your problems will be solved. That’s why when people ring me and ask about video, the first question I ask is ‘What do you want to achieve?’

With Video Strategy meetings I’m going one step further, these are 2-3 hour meetings that will help you work out who you want to target, how you should target them and what fits within your budget. By the end of the meeting you’ll have a 12 month plan of what you need to do to hit your targets.
