In my honest opinion if you’re going to succeed in your video strategy you need to produce videos regularly. That doesn’t mean making loads of videos for the sake of it, and it doesn’t mean making one video every now and again, but having a plan in place where you can target particular viewers in particular places through well thought out videos.

In the Video Toolkit we talk a lot about having a video strategy, it basically layers videos into different sectors, so you know what videos to make most, and where they lead. There are videos that can be made really easily, and videos that take a bit more time, effort and planning.

There’s nothing worse than hastily made videos, that have no point and no clear aim. I’ve seen it done (by some massive companies) because it is an easy trap to fall into, but a small bit of planning will save you a hell of a lot of time making pointless videos.

It’s having this plan in place that helps you to work out who you’re targeting, where they’re likely to watch and how to move them into your funnel.

If you’d like to talk more about making regular videos, give me a call and take me out to an expensive lunch.
